Your own Squire for every Adventure.

GM Squire is tailored for GMs who love the experience of running Dungeons & Dragons sessions around the table. We're built for keeping your sessions, characters, encounters and campaign world connected, organised and within reach.

No setup or plug-ins, and no scattered notes, infinite tabs or endless folders. We're here to support your creativity and make the experience of GMing intuitive, natural, and above all, fun.

Squire brings your campaign planning, session notes, campaign information and encounters together in one place — built around the way you actually prepare and run D&D.

Make planning a seamless experience, focus on creating not managing

Planning your sessions

Write naturally while Squire keeps everything you need within reach. Reference NPCs, monsters, locations, items, lore, and more without breaking your flow.

  • Type “@” to instantly reference NPCs, PCs, locations, monsters, spells, items, lore and more
  • Highlight text to turn what you've written into campaign content without leaving your session

Build encounters

Build and balance encounters without leaving your session planning. Add monsters, allies and hazards, then launch the encounter when you're ready to play.

Make running a session about the story and the players, not your notes

Running your sessions

Everything you prepared stays within reach from your session. Quick-view NPCs, PC details, locations, monsters, items and campaign information without digging through folders, switching between documents or scrolling through pages of notes.

Run the encounter when combat begins

Launch your prepared encounter directly into the Battle Tracker. Set initiative, add or remove combatants, track rounds, apply damage, healing and conditions, and view stat blocks as you play.

A limited preview — give it a go

The Beginning of the Road

We begin our adventure in Thistledown Vale, in the small town of Barleymoot, in a beautiful tree-house named Hearthburrow.

Our intrepid adventurers Maelor the Ashen, Rowan Wynroot and Tobin Ockshaw are being served tea and honeycakes by Alder Wynroot.

A Bickering Twosome

The noise of bickering and tense voices grows louder as it drifts through the open window.

Cobb Harrowfield and Tansy Applewhite burst through the door of Hearthburrow, clutching a missive from an Elven messenger. They read the message aloud:

  • A great evil is coming to Thistledown Vale in search of The Mirror Lord's Bane (Staff of the Magi). They must venture forth to Find the Mirror Lord's Staff without delay! The Shattered Mirror have dispatched a fearsome Wraith to hunt down the Staff.

On inspection of the letter there is nothing of note but The Wax Seal.

Danger Approaches

At that moment, the sound of heavy hooves beats down upon the track outside…

The Wraith Approaches

What would you like to do…?
